Headquartered in Hannover, Germany, Studio Dreimann was founded in 2010 by Jonas Ette (born in 1981), Simon Kux (born in 1980) and Tim Prigge (born in 1986), classmates at the Art University of Hannover. Their work embraces multiple disciplines, and ranges from industrial design to the design of consumer goods, such as home furnishings and lighting accessories for various national and international brands. The development of products that are innovative and functional at the same time, but that also have that quid that makes them unique, is top priority for Studio Dreimann. At the start of every project, they always analyse the “nature” of the object they have been asked to design and its functionality, as well as how to improve its performances. Every time, they start from the past and renovate it with new ideas. The three professionals are always in search of something innovative, fascinated by the endless possibilities that design can offer. Studio Dreimann has received several innovation awards, such as the Interior Innovation Award and the German Design Award, which is presented by the German Design Council, the Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum and the Red Dot Award with Honourable Mention.
