A design firm with solid roots that is always looking at the future: this is Roberto Pamio + Partners, a laboratory of ideas that originated from the architectural and design work of Roberto Pamio, who graduated in Architecture in 1969. A student of Carlo Scarpa, from whom he inherited a passion from using “poor” materials such as wood, stone and glass, ever since he was a young boy Roberto Pamio has been moved by a creative sensitivity that has led him to embrace industrial design, developing his own personal interpretation which is fully expressed in the design of lighting fixtures and interiors. In-depth knowledge of materials and the painstaking care for details, which distinguish his design creations, are also reflected in the realisation of architectural projects at the international level. It is in the use of materials that he is able to combine opposites that are only apparently irreconcilable, such as modernity and tradition, air and matter, glass and stone. It is in this intellectual and creative richness proves that the personalities of his three sons are formed: Matteo, architect, and Paolo, designer. Raised in an environment imbued with art and design, they introduced innovative technologies in the design process, such photovoltaic energy and telecommunications, in vision of design inspired by the values of contemporaneity. A new vision that brings with it the topic of sustainability, a principle that becomes the inspiration for projects aimed at the creation of products and architectural structures for the protection and habitability of the environment, in which quality, functionality and design represent crucial elements.
