The craftsmen, artisans and industrial partners that supply more than 80% of components used in LEUCOS’ products are located within a 70Km radius of our headquarters. Every LEUCOS lamp is assembled in-house.

At a time when many European and American brands proudly communicate their heritage, craftsmanship and national identity while manufacturing a substantial portion of their products thousands of kilometers away, we have chosen a different path.
Authenticity in not something that can be “proudly designed in Milan” and manufactured anonymously elsewhere.
Every time manufacturing is relocated solely to reduce costs, something valuable is lost. Skills built over generations disappear, workshops close, industrial knowledge fades, young people lose opportunities and entire production ecosystems weaken. Once this heritage is gone, it rarely comes back.
A country that no longer knows how to make things becomes dependent on those who do. Manufacturing is not merely an economic activity; it’s a strategic asset. It creates strength, independence and, most importantly, freedom.
Everyone has a role to play, manufacturers and end-users alike. This is why we continue to work with local craftsmen, specialized suppliers and manufacturing partners who share our standards and our values.
A local supply chain reduces unnecessary transportation, increases transparency, improves quality control and operates within regulatory frameworks that uphold higher standards for environmental protection, workplace safety and human rights.
For a manufacturer, this is neither the cheapest path nor the easiest. But if preserving skills, jobs, knowledge, dignity and freedom come at a cost, then it’s a cost worth paying.
